Olive Oil - extra virgin......
called "liquid gold" by the epic Greek poet, Homer, olive oil has been more than mere food to the peoples of the Mediterranean: it has been medicinal, magical, an endless source of fascination and wonder. Discovered over 5000 years ago, olive oil quickly became an essential component of hair and skin care. The Egyptians, Greeks, Phoenicians, and Romans all took full advantage of this prized oil and today we observe the beautiful hair and skin of Mediterranean women many of whom claim their secret is the oil of the tiny olive fruit.
Olive oil contains the monounsaturated fat, oleic acid which has antioxidants such as vitamin E and carotenoids and oleuropein, a chemical that prevents the oxidation of LDL particles. It is these properties that are thought to contribute to the health benefits of olive oil.
Orchid Oil
Used for its beneficial effects on the hair and skin, Orchid Oil reinforces keratin cells and nourishes the hair helping to increase its natural brilliance. The essential oil revitalizes and tones skin helping to prevent moisture loss and signs of ageing.
Panthenol......
a form of Vitamin B that is usually derived from plants. When this natural, hydrating vitamin penetrates the hair, it turns into pantothenic acid (commonly known as Vitamin B5). The healing properties of this vitamin have been proven to be beneficial creating stronger, healthier and more vital hair. Panthenol is also a humectant, a hygroscopic substance, which absorbs moisture naturally into the hair keeping it in top condition

Rosa Centifolia......
For centuries, the essence of Rosa Centifolia has been used for a number of different disorders including headaches and nervous tension, digestive and menstrual problems, liver congestion, fever, poor circulation, skin complaints and eye infections. This rose oil inspires emotional calm and stability without sedative effects. The aroma is powerful and comforting and its physical actions are mildly astringent, balancing and it is non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing.
Rosa Damascena......
For soft, supple, radiant and young-looking skin, Rose Damascena essential oil has a beautifully feminine aroma and is most effective for moisturizing and hydrating whilst having a general stimulating and antiseptic action. Good for all skin types, but especially so for dry, mature and irritated skin, it is used to repair broken capillaries, reduce inflammation as well as skin redness and is useful in the treatment of eczema and other related disorders.
Rosa Alba......
Rosa Alba is one of the most antiseptic rose oils and is beneficial to any skin type, even a baby's sensitive skin. It is especially healing if you are suffering from eczema, inflammation, sensitivity, broken capillaries, ulcers or a wound. It is also a beneficial tonic for the heart, increasing the circulation. It balances and strengthens the stomach during emotional upsets and other digestive concerns and has a cleansing and purging effect on toxins. It is useful for respiratory disorders, including coughs and sore throats, also sprains, gum disease, headaches, migraines, fevers and shingles.
Rosemary Oil......
(Rosmarinus officinalis) used throughout history to treat a wide range of ailments, including stomach upsets, digestive disorders and headaches the extract of the Rosemary plant has been more recently recognized in helping to prevent cancer. The antioxidants contained in Rosemary Oil, monoterpenes, phenolic diterpenes and flavonoids, are renowned for their ability to slow down the production of free radicals, helping to protect the body's cells from damage. It is also a rich source of vitamin E (alpha tocopherol), another potent antioxidant, which contributes to its free radical fighting powers further still. Two of the most important ingredients in Rosemary, which are thought to be largely responsible for many of these therapeutic actions, are caffeic acid and rosemarinic acid – both are potent antioxidant and anti- inflammatory agents.
